We have put together here a list of the most popular SDI courses on offer.

If you are being put off from taking a dive course thinking that you will be stuck in a classroom studying dive theory, well this is not true!

For the majority of SDI courses, eLearning is available.  Therefore, just pick the course you want, and we will send you the eLearning codes so that you can do the theory part in your own time and pace.

Computer Nitrox Diver

2-4 hours (classroom) + 2 nitrox  dives – recommended but not required

The SDI Computer Nitrox Diver course covers the use of nitrox mixtures from 22% – 40% oxygen.

 

Deep Diver

The SDI Deep Diver specialty is a must for ay diver who wants to explore a little more, go a little deeper, but also learn the risks and benefits associated with deep diving.

 

Wreck Diver

1-2 days (2 dives required as a non-penetration course and 3 dives required as a limited-penetration course)

 

10+* (for non-penetration dives)

 

The SDI Wreck Diver Course will discuss the equipment and techniques commonly employed while wreck diving. This course may be taught as a non-penetration, 2 dives required, or as a limited-penetration course, requiring 3 dives. Limited-penetration is defined as a swim through or within the ambient light of entry point.

The SDI Search & Recovery Diver Specialty is designed to acquaint the diver with the special skills and techniques necessary to successfully plan, execute and evaluate a search and recovery dive.
